Why is Meltblown so important for PMs?

What is PM (Particulate matter)?

It is called PM, particulate matter, particulate pollution. More specifically, it is the term used for use of solid particles and liquid droplets in air. Some resulting particles such as dust, dirt, soot or smoke are large (PM10) enough to be visible to the naked eye. PM 2.5 is 4 times smaller than these particulates and are critical for human health. PM 0.1 can only be seen in an electron microscope.

What are the effects of such particulates on a Human Body?

The size of particles is directly linked to their potential for causing health problems. Small particles less than 10 micrometers in diameter pose the greatest problems, because they can get deep into your lungs, and some may even get into your bloodstream.

How can we reduce our exposure?

By using the right mask manufactured with the right fabric, our exposure to viruses and other PMs will be eliminated.

Meltblown fabrics protection against Particulates

This advanced material has electrostatic properties that help it capture microscopic particles as they attempt to pass through. MA-250 includes the meltblown fabric and provides high filtration against PM2,5.
